FIDELITY WITHOUT LIMITATION

Anyone who knows our long-time head of development Kurt Scheuch knows that he can neither rest on his laurels nor abandon exciting inspirations in a drawer. The development of this high-end loudspeaker resulted in the concept model of the so-called Line Source. These models allow all frequencies to be radiated as a coherent cylindrical sound wave – a principle for which ribbon technology is ideally suited. No sooner thought than done: After years of work and enormous development effort, the first Master Line Source loudspeaker was completed in 2013. A high-fidelity speaker without limitation. A perfectly synchronized feast for all senses – or in other words: musical authenticity that never fails to amaze.

What distinguishes the Master Line Source

Handcrafted in Switzerland

The Master series has a unique design and is handcrafted down to the smallest detail. Building a Master loudspeaker requires up to two weeks of manual work with unimaginable precision, followed by thorough testing and sound tuning before the loudspeaker can leave our production.

Swiss Design

The speakers of the Master series were developed in close collaboration with Swiss designer Stephan Hürlemann and is available in different cabinet designs.

BRILLIANT MIDRANGE AND TWEETER SOUND

Line source driver ribbons ensure unforgettable sound reproduction for all midrange and high frequencies.

ACOUSTIC LENSES

The rear acoustic lenses distribute the sound expansively so that it is possible to place a dipole speaker in the room like a conventional loudspeaker.

The MLS 3, with a height of 165 cm, is the smallest loudspeaker of the Master Line Source series and ideally suited for larger living rooms. Two completely new 180 mm UHQD bass units and two UHQD passive membranes are used to provide a powerful bass.

Although the MLS 2, with a total weight of 93 kg, is considerably lighter than the MLS with its 176 cm height, it is slightly taller and is thus also the largest of PIEGA’s loudspeakers.

The Master Line Source, the absolute flagship of the PIEGA loudspeakers, was in development for several years. It operates on the line source principle, which audio experts consider the ideal transducer. All frequencies are radiated as coherent cylindrical sound waves. Thanks to the enormous membrane area of the line source loudspeaker, its sound-producing area is considerably larger than in conventional loudspeakers and exhibits extremely low distortion.
